They're long gone. They fluxed in from someone elses world, demanded they talk to whoever brought them there but since they were flux-ins there was no one for them to talk to. They chased people around for a couple days and then they themselves got chased around by people from town and very terrifying video game characters. And then they fluxed out.
He's been here for a few months. The only people to give him shit about his powers were the super soldiers.
People don't really care, here. Loads of people have something up their sleeve, and a few of them come from worlds where they're hunted for that kind of thing.
But here, despite the weird stuff that happens, tends to be pretty safe.
[That wasn't quite what he was asking, but it ended up giving him
more information that he needed. Still.. he had hidden what he was for so
long he wasn't ready to out himself.]
[He didn't really believe her, but he didn't want to argue or make
her feel bad either. This was his sort of good deed for the day. Consider
yourself lucky, Charlie.]

I'd hate takin' medicine too, so I can't blame ya. They have any fun side effects?
Re: text - 07/23/2015
Re: text - 07/23/2015
[He nods. If the drugs were more fun to take maybe she'd remember to take them.]
Besides greetin' newbs and bein' knocked up, what else do you do around here?
Re: text - 07/23/2015
I take care of my horse, go to the movie theater and once I got thrown into a concrete prison by a Supersoldier. That was an interesting weekend.
Re: text - 07/23/2015
Damn, you really know how to party don't ya.
[She'd probably not like his line of thought then with the pills.]
Where these Supersoldiers now? Do we still need to worry about the fuckers?

Re: text - 07/23/2015
Terrifying video game characters? What?
Re: text - 07/23/2015
The ones he pulled looked sort of like they'd come from a Chuck E Cheese in hell.
Re: text - 07/23/2015
I hope he's okay with his cover bein' blown like that.
[God, that guy must've gotten hit with some killer paradox.]
Re: text - 07/23/2015
He's offered a few times to demonstrate his abilities.
Re: text - 07/23/2015
He's not worried about people comin' after him or anything?

Re: text - 07/23/2015
[There's a pause in his texting. He really had to consider that.]
Like you?

What happens when you use your magic in front of people?

Hm. Why do you think here is so different?
Re: text - 07/23/2015
Re: text - 07/23/2015
People are asswipes. I'm surprised they didn't find a way to discriminate certain abilities versus others somehow.
Re: text - 07/23/2015
But I don't think that kind of thing'll happen here. If it does, it's probably because something weird's going on in town.
Re: text - 07/23/2015
Maybe this place really is different.
